In July of 2025, I started developing back issues that I am sure stem from sitting for hours in a cockpit flying aerial Patrol and after my battle with Stage 2 Prostate Cancer that I am clear of. Prostatectomy can further cause nerve issues with back issues that existed prior to surgery.
Some of the main symptoms from my back issues were tightness in my back and calves with numbness in my feet that restricted my daily activities. My daily activities included fitness training, modeling in our hangar for upcoming events, and working in my welding business. I am not one for being inactive but maintaining a very active schedule at 68 from 5 a.m. to 8 p.m. six days a week.
For my back issues, I developed six physical therapy elements that I do along with my warm-ups before I work out six times per week that include strength training. By this past August, I was resuming all my daily activities due to my Six-Pack Exercises for my back issues. But I noticed an additional benefit that I wasn’t expecting at age 68, I was tightening up my abdominal muscles with one particular element called the Knee Lift Tabletop Crunch, shown above. This exercise has done wonders for my back issues by helping me realign my lumbar area; along with the other five Six-Pack Exercises performed by Britney, below:
The Results are Stronger Ab Muscles
The Knee Lift Tabletop Crunch focuses on the abdominal muscles that I have been able to tighten up shown in the featured image above. I never thought that I would have abs like I had in my mid-30’s now at age 68. But this is a side benefit that I received from doing all my Six-Pack Exercises. I do 3-Sets of 15 reps each, six times per week before my regular workouts routine.

The title of my website is: Age-Defying Lifestyle because at age 68 I am able to model at our hangar for upcoming events to expose people, to first and foremost, the importance of our U.S. Military; but also, aviation, especially the municipal airports are the lifeblood of small communities economy. These municipal airports allow large businesses to bring jobs to these small communities where there are highly skilled trades people who enjoy their small-town lifestyle.
The Health & Fitness of the Kerosene Cowboy Club
The reason I am posing with my cowboy hat in the featured image above is that we use Jet-A fuel in some of our aircraft and the exhaust from these turbans smell like kerosene. We are often referred to as Kerosene Cowboys that was also the name of a movie RED SKY a.k.a. Kerosene Cowboys released in 2014.

Just Don’t Drop Weight & Inches, Drop Years Off Your Appearance
But dropping weight and inches off isn’t all that you are going to drop, you are dropping age off your appearance not just by years, but decades just by including a strength training in with your workout program. I am not talking about powerlifting; I am using light weights with high reps.
I don’t even have a dumbbell over 45- pounds in my gym that I use, mainly for bench pressing, shown above. Your fountain of youth isn’t in expensive creams but in your muscles that releases a natural growth hormone that contains collagen to replace your body’s cells, called process is called Mitosis. Even over the age of 50, the Mitosis process slows down and later stops that accelerates the aging process. Again, I am 68, soon to be 69 this next year, that is one year away from 70.
