In this featured photograph, I am 68 years old even after my battle through Prostate Cancer and Treatment in 2023 and its side effects.
I have worked out since my high school days in football, wrestling, and after my service in the U.S. Military. I was medically discharged due to knees and hip injuries. In my mid-40’s both my knees and hip got so debilitating that I could no longer workout in my gym and needed surgery on both knees and hip.
As result, I gained about 45- unwanted Lbs. and 7- inches in my waistline leading up to 2014. After knee surgeries and hip replacement at age 57, I got back on my CATABOLIC Diet and back into my gym. I lost 52 Lbs. along with 9- inches in my waistline.

I always measured my waistline as opposed to using scales. Scales can not determine muscle from fat.
Nerve Manipulation after Prostatectomy
In December of 2023, I was diagnosed with Stage 2 Prostate Cancer where I had Prostatectomy (surgical removal of the Prostate). Few months after my recovery, I developed back issues that I never had before. With a lot of research, I was able to detect the issue and develop a few simple back relief exercises in conjunction with my IRONCLAD Fitness regimen. The back exercises have totally eradicated my back issues.
Below are the nine exercises that I developed to relieve my back issues, Brandy demonstrated these for me in my gym:
Just these 9- Exercises helped me to eliminate my back issues with symptoms of tight calves and numb feet.
The down side, I had to eliminate some of my IRONCLAD Fitness Exercises that I enjoyed doing with the Medicine Ball, i.e., Russian Twist and Diagonal Wood chopper (or Stocking the Shelves).
If you have back issues, you will need to eliminate twisting and lateral (sideways) bending from your workout routine and especially from your daily activities, especially underload. Bing a golfer, I hated to eliminate these core exercises, but I had no choice if I wanted to eliminate the tight calves and my numb feet. Both interfered with me walking and my balance issues. The very last thing you want to lose is your balance.
IRONCLAD to Reverse Your Aging Process
Working with resistance training also reverses the aging process that allows the muscles to release a natural growth hormone that contains the age-defying Collagen that you can produce at any age. Building muscles also burns calories; for every pound of muscle added your are burning 50 calories per day.
