While her name, Scarlet Banner is fictitious, the Sayeret Matkal unit notoriety got worldwide recognition on July 4th, 1976, with the execution of The Raid on Entebbe to rescue Israelis hostages that were hijacked. This also shows the special relations between the United States and Israel in sharing intelligence.

The Scar & Sicarius, The Odessa Squad is about one of Israel’s most special forces called Sayeret Matkal that took part in the July 4, 1976, Raid on Entebbe. In 2024, Sayeret Matkal started allowing women to join their ranks that had to meet all the tough physical and mental training requirements.
This 338-page book is about a young woman, Scarlet Banner, or Scar, who was formerly with the IDF that decided to join the Sayeret Matkal right before the Operation Modern-Day Trojan in September of 2024. This was where cell phones and walkie talkies that were sent to high-level Hezbollah members that were laced with pentaerythritol tetranitrate (PETN) explosive detonated.
Scar was then assigned to Operation Raising Lion on June 13, 2025, where the Massad and the Sayeret Matkal infiltrated Iran to neutralize the IRGC biolistic missile and radar sites for aerial bombing and to set up Operation Midnight Hammer.
Scar’s next assignment was to join Kurds and Iranian underground to prepare for what was to be Operation Epic Fury to take out the Iran Regime and IRGC.
Scar also worked with SEAL Team Six to take out IRGC strongholds and secure 460kg enriched Uranium fuel for nuclear weapons.
Scarlet Banner attended Georgia TECH and is a huge American sports car and the New York Yankees baseball fan.
